#IdolsSA: Thami and Noma are the last 2 standing & Tebogo says goodbye
The top 3 Idols SA contestants were Tebogo, Thami and Noma, and this year Idols South Africa did things a little differently. Instead of giving us a taste of the 2 singles from the the Top 2, we got to hear all their singles, which was great.
The judges got to predict who the Top 2 would be, and Randall Abrahams, Gareth Cliff and Somizi Mhlongo all predicted that they see Thami and Tebogo in the final 2. Unathi Msengana on the other hand, didn’t commit to any side.
Then the results were announced . . . and it was Tebogo who had to bid farewell to Idols SA. Noma was saved, because of votes.
What I found great about this season besides the talent that we saw, is that Tebogo and Thami proved that “No” does not mean that you should give up on your dreams. They both entered the competition last year, only to be eliminated early on. And this year . . . look at how far they have both come, with Thami having a 50% chance of winning this season.
Tebogo may be out of the competition, but I am willing to bet that his music career is far from over. With a voice like that, he will probably go on to make amazing music.
All the best to him, and the remaining Top 2, Thami and Noma.
