Love – beautiful, breathtaking, crazy, unexplained feeling where there is so much beauty in the world, and you have so much joy you are ready to burst! Those butterflies in your stomach, and that goofy smile which cannot be wiped off. The music keeps playing and you have never known a happiness like that.
There are many ways to express love to the people in your life, or more importantly, that one person who makes your heart race. Here are 6 ways to say I love you:
Be understanding and considerate – being considerate and understanding even when you do not feel like it is love. You may not like the same programs that they do, but you should make room for them to have what they want. When you are considerate, your partner is likely to be understanding and considerate when it comes to you also.
Be visible, be present and be available for special things – make sure that you prioritize your time well, so that the person in your life can feel like they are a priority in your life. This includes being available for birthdays, anniversaries, dinner and those things that your partner deems to be important.
Do something before your partner asks you to do it – If you hate cleaning or doing dishes, do it. This shows them that you care, that you think about them and that you are prepared to take the load off.
Leave Sticky Notes on the fridge (or wherever) – Sometimes you may be in a hurry, or you may be mad at each other, but a sticky note will go a long way in reminding your loved one that you love them. It will definitely bring a smile to their face, and it can set the tone for the whole day.
Don’t fret the little things – Your partner has flaws and all, and they will not always do the right thing or what you expect them to do. Forgive quickly, and don’t fret the little things. Let it go and laugh more. Trust me, they will appreciate it.
Say thank you – say thank you, even if it is for something small. This lets them know that you appreciate them and everything that they do for you. Let them know the reason for your thank you, so that they know exactly why.
