Cassper Nyovest & Jason Derulo Collaborate For Fifa World Cup Anthem
Cassper Nyovest and Jason Derulo are teaming up, to work on the Fifa World Cup song for 2018 . . . an initiation by Coca Cola. The song is called Colours . . . and we truly can’t wait to see what they cook up in the studio.
As you know, soccer is huge in South Africa and all over the world, and with Colours comes the kind of expectancy and excitement that can only come with soccer.
About the project Jason Derulo said: “I was honoured to work with Coca-Cola to create an anthem celebrating every team and their fans. ‘Colours’ represents the different flags and cultures from around the world and will get everyone moving to a unifying beat. I’m excited to finally tell the world about this partnership as the excitement builds for the FIFA World Cup™.”
Cassper took to Instagram to share his excitement about this project as well: “Coming from a nation of colourful people this anthem will speak to South Africans as the song captures our passions for football and Coca-Cola. Working with Coca-Cola and Jason Derulo, has been a thrilling journey and we hope that this anthem will be well received by fans getting #Ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.”
This collaboration isn’t only limited to South Africa, other countries will also have their local artists collaborate with Jason to put their stamp on their country and culture. These include Tanzania, Ethiopia, Mozambique and Ethiopia . . . all with the task to create a unique African anthems for their countries.
