DJ Zinhle has spoken up about the pain that she went through when she broke up with AKA, who is the father of her baby Kairo.

DJ Zinhle spoke to CliffCentral’s Arye Kellman, where she opened up about what she went through during that dark time in her life, how she processed her pain and the tattoos that she got during that time.

She got two rose tattoos.

“So now, the first tattoo that I have is a rose. Actually, both are roses. This big one on my arm, I got it when I was going through the shittiest time of my life,” she told Arye.

DJ Zinhle then put into words the pain she experienced: “And when I got this tattoo it was so therapeutic, cause it was just like pain, but it just made sense. You know when you can make sense of pain? Because I couldn’t make sense of a lot of pain at the time, but when I had the tattoo… you know why you’re hurting.”

Then she explained why she chose to get a rose: “…But also for what I had gone through in my life, with the father of my child, it was just like, with everything that happened, a rose is still a rose. So it made sense.”

“I’m at a stage in my life where the people around me are just easy going and give off good energy. I am at a point in my life where I do not care about what anyone thinks about me. I just want to live my life and be happy,” she added.

Great to see DJ Zinhle in a better place and putting all that pain behind her.

AKA and Bonang Matheba at first denied their affair when DJ Zinhle made it known that Bonang was the third woman in their love triangle.

In fact, Bonang even tried to sue DJ Zinhle about the issue, saying it’s defamation of character.

And now, AKA and Bonang are just happy to parade their relationship for the entire world to see.
