iFani’s album I Believes in Me (2nd Quadrant) is out! He dropped his latest album on the 29th of April and he has big dreams for it.
The rapper, who raps mostly in Xhosa, is wishing for his album to go gold on the first day of it’s release. Of course, he has been working tirelessly to get it out there to the people, doing radio stations to promote the album and get people to pre-order it via itunes.
So, today it’s a huge day for iFani . . . and he is proving that dreams do come true, if you want something bad enough.
Some people were skeptical, that to get an album to reach gold (which is to sell 20 000) copies on the first day was just impossible. But according to Twitter, he is getting very close to his target. He tweeted this:
Mzansi, we are SO close. Please go out there and buy a copy. or 5! Or 10. im half excited and half nervous □ eish. pic.twitter.com/oHdwsrpKQd

We have no doubt that he will surpass that figure. It is amazing to see the support that he has, and people on board in helping make his dream come true.
As I write this, he is about 2500 short of going gold! That’s really amazing!
Have you bought his new album? If not, are you planning to?
