Reneilwe Letsholonyane may be signing up a new contract with Kaizer Chiefs Football Club. The seasoned midfielder’s current deal with the Premier Soccer League title holders elapses at the end of the 2015/16 season. However, there have been signs that the Kaizer Chiefs are engaging contract talks with the 33 year old midfielder.
The revelation was made at the club’s official website by the club’s football manager, Bobby Motaung. He gave the indication that the club was in negotiations with Reneilwe and that announcements on the same would be made in due course. This comes after an earlier statement by the club’s chairman, Kaizer Motaung Snr, that the club will sign up new players when the current season comes to an end.
Reneilwe, famously known as ‘Yeye’, has been out of the field for a while after suffering a knee injury. It had been rumoured that the 33 year old may be headed to Supersport United, currently under his former coach Stuart Baxter. However, the veteran midfielder is likely to remain at Kaizer Chiefs considering the revelations made by the club’s football manager.
