Your Playing Small Does Not Serve the World

12 Things You Should Know for Sure

I love this quote by Marianne Williamson :

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Your playing small does not serve the world, nor does it serve you!

How many times have you doubted yourself, or doubted that you can pull something off?

Or pretended that you are not good at something just because you are trying to fit into a group of people? Most of us have done this at some point in our lives.

I don’t care what your life has been like, I don’t care if everyone around you tells you that you have nothing to offer, I don’t care if you think you have reached your full potential – the truth is that you have not!

You have so much to offer the world, there is greatness inside every one of us, and there is greatness inside of you. Don’t let anyone tell you different!

It may look over, it may seem over but it really is not until God says it is.

Life may have knocked you down! You may have made some bad decisions and you may have fallen down. But I am here to tell you that there hope! Obstacles do not determine the outcome.

Sometimes it takes everything to take that next step. People may not expect much from you, but it does not matter. You are bigger than your circumstances and you are bigger than your past.

Whatever you went through, you survived it and there is a reason why you are here!

Your playing small does not serve the world. Get up and stop being a victim of your circumstances. Be the best you can be!
