South Africa men and women drawn with Brazil at 2016 Olympic Games
It is no longer a secret that South Africa`s men’s team will play against the host Brazil in the 2016 Rio Olympic football tournament. It is going to be a ground breaking game where the South African men`s team will have an honor to play with the host team on August4, at the Mane Garrincha stadium in Brasilia.
Other teams that have been drawn on the same pool A include Denmark and Iraq. They will also play against Denmark on the very venue on Aug 7 before taking on against Iraq on August 10 at the Corinthians arena in Sao Paulo. The best two teams from each group will automatically qualify for quarter finals.
On the other hand, the Banyana Banyana has been placed in pool E against Brazil, Sweden and China. The first match will kick on at Olympic stadium on August 3 where the team will play against Sweden then play with China on the same venue on August 6.Their last match will be against the host team Brazil on August 9 at the Manaus stadium.
