The Soil lit East London ablaze with their performance!
Their latest album Nostalgic Moments has gone platinum already, and this is less than four months since they released it. Yesterday, they performed some songs from the album, on the Buyelekhaya Festival yesterday in East London . . . all to the delights of their fans.
The audience of more 20 000 were screaming “encore” after the acappella group had performed their set, reports Drum.
According to Drum, the crowds were singing the group’s song “Mkuluwa” for about 2 minutes . . . and the Soil just watched in awe . . . in appreciation. They sure felt the love through that performance.
“Enkosi East London, we appreciate it,” said Buhle Mda.
“It’s always wonderful to be appreciated and we understand fully that we made platinum because of the people,” Buhle said.
It’s obvious that the people are losing their music . . . they are definitely one of Mzansi’s groups to watch in 2015 and beyond!
