Usain Bolt confirms Rio 2016 will be his last Olympics

Usain Bolt, the Jamaican International athlete who has achieved so much on the track, is preparing for his last Olympics.

The 29 year old surely deserves the nickname “Lightning Bolt”. He holds many world and personal records and is regarded as the fastest man ever timed. Bolt mainly participates in the 100 metre race, 200 metre, and 4*100 metre relay.

With the Olympic games which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil approaching, so much is expected from him as he looks to add to his many medals. However, this looks to be the last time that the great splinter is going to participate in the games. He has been reported saying and I quote: Rio 2016 will ‘definitely be my last Olympics’:Usain Bolt.

Even as he plans to exit, there is no doubt that he has made it big in the leading sporting event. He has won a total of 6 gold medals. This international event is normally held in summer and winter after every 4 years. The games attracts more than 200 participating Nations.

I bet this is not the best news for his fans all over the world. There is still a lot to be seen from the champion in other events. Only one thing is for sure:this is Bolts final Olympics. Best wishes is all he needs.
