Who is Zethembiso Mdletshe and what does music mean to you?
Zethe is a 25 year old girl from a small town called Empangeni. She studied music at the University of KwaZulu Natal majoring in jazz studies and now is a full time musician.
Music means a feeling/expression
When did it all start? And when did you know that it’s what you wanted to do?
My late father used to play a variety of music genres when I was growing up and it made me fall in love. Later on my mother would make me sing at weddings and graduation parties and at first I wasn’t so keen about it but around the age of 15 I fell in love. I guess my mother saw potential.
